Speech Masters shows campers how fun and fulfilling public speaking can be! We start off each week with the most important part of our workshop: creating a audience of friends and supporters through theater and fun. Once we have a camp audience that is ready to celebrate our public speaking efforts, we build camper's confidence through lessons and games that teach the basics of presentation delivery and speech preparation.

As the week progresses, campers will get their chance to take center stage! Through small group and individual activities, campers will build confidence as they practice, practice, practice. Whether presenting an informative speech about their favorite super hero or donning a Greek theater mask to astound us with a theatrical lesson, your camper will take the stage and perform like a true DaVinci master.

Along the way, we will:

• Learn to develop creative and organized presentations using an outline

• Develop skills of delivery and preparation -- essential to quality public speaking

• Practice presenting to an audience several times each day

• Perform theatrical monologues and scenes to increase stage confidence

• Learn from each other and from our experienced instructors

• Thrive with the care and encouragement of a supportive audience

• Make lots of new friends!
