Ari Moskowitz, MFA — Instructor

Ari Moskowitz holds a BA in English from Wesleyan University and an MFA in Creative Writing from SFSU, where he was the Editor in Chief of Fourteen Hills. In February ’17, he was awarded a fellowship to the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts. His writing has appeared in The Pinch, Fourteen Hills, Transfer, and others. His story, “Three Blinking Dots,” was a finalist for the 2016 Glimmer Train Very Short Fiction contest.

For the past three admissions cycles, he has coached students on how to write compelling personal statements. His students have achieved full scholarships to the MBA program at Ross, a Presidential scholarship to USC, and a PhD in finance at UCLA. Ari feels that telling authentic stories is a learned skill, and he loves helping students achieve acceptances to their dream schools. Read more here about what students think of working with Ari.
