Meghan M. Clark - Limited Prep Instructor - Extemp and Impromptu Speaking
Meghan M. Clark is a highly accomplished speech and debate coach whose students have won major national and state tournaments, including championships at the Glenbrooks, UT, Emory, Harvard, and the TFA State Tournament. She also coached a second place finisher in International Extemporaneous Speaking at the NSDA National Tournament.
She has coached speech and debate for twelve years, including seven years at Newcastle ISD, two years at Vines High School in Plano, and three years at Plano West Senior High School. At Plano West, her students have consistently achieved top national and state results. During her time at Vines High School, she coached students to an NSDA district championship, a semifinal finish at the TFA State Tournament, and a semifinalist finish at the NSDA National Tournament. At Newcastle ISD, she coached multiple students to regional and state success in Lincoln Douglas debate, policy debate, and extemporaneous speaking.
A Texas native, Meghan grew up in the Wichita Falls area, where she competed in extemporaneous speaking and Lincoln Douglas debate in UIL. She placed second in extemporaneous speaking at the state level in both 2006 and 2007.
She currently lives in the Frisco area and enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with her family.
